THE 10-8 REPORT
Little Macie Claire Mangum is a miracle baby for Trooper Calvin Mangum and his wife, Camille. Macie Claire arrived here on January 9th. She’s an early riser - as she was born at 6:35 a.m. Macie weighed 7 lbs and 3 ounces; she was 18.5 inches long. The new little bundle of beauty was welcomed home by her ten-year-old brother, Jake. On behalf of the entire Mississippi Trooper family and the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Troopers Association, we welcome Macie Mangum into the patrol family. Congratulations to each of you.
We are happy to announce that Trooper Brad Hamblin and his wife, Amanda, are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy. His name is Dosson Lee Hamblin, and he was born on May 4 at 12:26 a.m. Dosson Lee weighed 7 lb 8 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. We are glad to report that both mom and baby are doing well. On behalf of the entire Mississippi Highway Patrol family and the board of directors for the Mississippi State Troopers Association - we say congratulations!
Trooper Josh Leggett (MS) and his wife, Neisha Leggett, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter. Her name is Joy Nicole Leggett, and she was born on December 9 at 11:16 a.m. She weighed in at 7 lb 14 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Baby Joy Nicole is also welcomed home by her big brother, little Jax Wayne Leggett who is three years old. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Mississippi State Troopers Association and all of the trooper family, we welcome the Leggett’s new bundle of Joy!
